Caesar salad with honey dressing

Caesar salad is one of the most famous dishes in the world. Legend has it that it was created by Cesare Cardini, who arranged crispy romaine lettuce leaves on a plate, seasoned them with a special sauce and sprinkled toasted bread cubes on top. Our Caesar salad tastes so delicious because of a special ingredient in the dressing. We used creamy honey with chili , which makes the sauce just the right spicy-sweet. Its creamy, divine texture perfectly complements the taste of crispy croutons and juicy meat.

Salad dressing:

  • 35g  Melissé creamy honey with chili
  • 120 g mayonnaise
  • 120 g Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 + ½ tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove of garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 25 g grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper

We also need:

  • 1 large head of crisp-leaf lettuce
  • 200 g of stale bread
  • 4 small chicken breast fillets
  • Parmesan for topping
  1. Cut the bread into cubes, drizzle with a little olive oil and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 10 minutes until crispy. Set aside.
  2. Clean the lettuce, cut it into smaller leaves and place it in a bowl.
  3. Pat the chicken dry with a paper towel, season with salt and pepper, and fry in a little oil until golden brown (approx. 5 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of the fillet).
  4. For the dressing, simply mix all the ingredients and don't forget to #mastermove ingredient - creamy honey with chili .
  5. Add the sliced meat and croutons to the salad, pour over the sauce and mix. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Serve immediately.
